The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau issued a Final Rule updating the Regulation Z threshold amounts for the Minimum Interest charge, Credit Card penalty fee amounts, HOEPA loans, and Qualified Mortgages under the ability-to-repay rule which become effective January 1, 2021.

The thresholds remain unchanged for the Minimum Interest charge and credit card penalty fees.

The thresholds for both HOEPA loans and qualified mortgages have been adjusted for 2021.
