On March 16, 2020, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) published Circular 26-20-7 regarding special relief and safety for those affected by Coronavirus COVID-19. Circular 26-20-7 provides the following information:
- Guidance for veterans regarding in-person appointments.
- Guidance for lenders and servicers regarding relief to veterans impacted by COVID-19; this includes information about forbearance requests, late charge waivers, and credit and VA reporting.
- Guidance for business conduct for appraisers.
